Hiro Hamada, a genius child who had graduated from high school at the age of 13, had an interest in joining a university which was entered by his brother, Tadashi Hamada. To be able to enter and continue studying at the university, Hiro must present a finding as an entrance examination. Hiro managed to make an interesting finding and finally got a university acceptance letter, but a tragedy happened that made Hiro's life change.

Still in his sad time, Tadashi's robot named Baymax was active to later help Hiro get back "healthy" by doing various ways to cure him, while looking for a mysterious Kabuki masked man who had stolen and used Hiro's findings for his personal interests. Who is the mysterious man and why should he use Hiro's invention that should have been destroyed? Hiro was determined to find out with the help of Baymax and Tadashi's four friends at the university, Go Go, Wasabi, Honey Lemon and Fred.

The most prominent thing about this Big Hero 6 animated film is the quality of the animation. Character design is quite simple, but it is able to provide its own uniqueness for each character. Every expression and movement, as well as being supported by the ability of the voice actors to be able to provide nuances as well as emotions that are right in every scene.

The story expressed in a short Big Hero 6, is very simple and quite predictable. Even so, the film is able to provide emotional feelings while triggering laughter about the behavior of the characters, especially the funny and adorable behavior of Baymax.
